I'm Upping My P(doom) the three.js cut
mexicat · TypeScript + three.js · 1080p60 and 4K60
A music video with karaoke type synced to every word. Each frame is a pure function of song time, so the browser preview and the final render match exactly. The concept, the treatment, the lyric alignment, the audio analysis, the renderer and every scene were worked out in conversation with Claude Opus 5.5 in Claude Code.
The timing comes from real analysis: the vocals were separated from the mix, the lyrics force-aligned word by word and checked against Whisper, and the beat grid measured at 132 BPM. Scenes snap to that grid. The motion blur is real too: each frame averages up to 324 sub-frames where things move fast, and as few as 12 where they don't.

The song
"I'm Upping My P(doom)": lyrics by osmarks, built on an opening verse and chorus by MusicPerson, with lines suggested on the EleutherAI Discord and help from Claude on the outro and final chorus. The original was generated with Udio in November 2024 (listen). The three.js cut uses the "Claude-Pop" version made with Suno and posted by deckard, the same post that inspired the Clawd cut. The song and lyrics belong to their authors.
