About pdoom.video

When Claude Opus 5.5 came out, people asked it for videos and it answered by writing them: animation code in HTML, Canvas, SVG and three.js, rendered frame by frame. This site gathers 993 of those films from 830 creators, 501 of them with the prompt that made them, plus 164 reusable styles. It's named after I'm Upping My P(doom), the song behind two of the most ambitious ones.

Make one yourself

Install Claude Code, pick Opus 5.5 with effort on high or above, and make sure Node.js, Chrome and FFmpeg are installed. Start it in an empty folder and paste a prompt from any film here. The model writes a page that can draw any moment of the film, steps a headless Chrome through time to capture each frame, and joins them with a soundtrack it also wrote. Starter kits:Claude Animation Base,Lemo-Opuscar andMG Styles 15.

How this site works

A script pulls each collection below from GitHub, merges entries that point to the same post, and keeps the best of each: a title from one, the prompt from another, notes from a third. Stills are resized and served from here. Films posted on X play through X's own embed, style films stream from their makers' sites, and YouTube loads only when you press play. Every film is labelled Opus 5.5 because its collection said so, usually on the creator's word. Last sync: 2026-10-21.

Credit and licences

Films, stills and prompts belong to their creators, and every entry links to the original post. These collections did the finding and annotating. Their licences cover their own writing and data, not the creators' work.

Correct or remove an entry

If your work is here and you'd like it credited or described differently, or taken down, open an issue with a link to the page. Removals come first and need no reason. If you made one of these films and it's missing, say so too.
